This was my submission to a contest this weekend in the store Forbidden Planet. They held an anime/manga day to celebrate the release of a new edition Akira DVD. They held two contests, one was a cosplay contest (i did not win with my L costume but it was still fun

) and i came third in the painting/drawing comtest which was to draw your favourite character from any series.

the colours are much brighter in real life, and the paper is white not grey but the painting is bigger than my scanner so i had to take a photo of it which killed the colours a little XD

Stunning (and very tasty)! He so adorable youv vertially captured everything about him in one amazingly cute image, I like the little L tea bag label hanging from the cup.

Its a shame about the cosplay contest, but Ive realised when it comes to being the best L its all about the hair really and I for one deffinately dont have it! That doesnt stop me though Nya haa!

A lot of people do a bit of color fixing with photoshop (or a similar program) before submitting. Love your work by the way.

i'm not so good with photo shop :/ i tried a bit of colour correcting but i kept making it worse haha i'llhave to practice because a lot of my new pictures are too big for my scanner... so i will face this camera killing th ecolour problem more and more...thank you for your comment
